The Gion Festival which is one of Japan’s three most famous festivals is currently held till 31 July. Yoiyama of Atomatsuri of the Gion Festival will be held from 21 to 23, and Yamahoko Junko (procession of Gion Festival Floats) will be held on 24 July. It is Yasaka Shrine’s festival. It takes about 2 minutes from ‘Kyoto Kimono Rental Rei’ to Yasaka Shrine on foot♪
